Centennial is pleased to announce the March winner of the Centennial 12 in 12 Community Campaign – Saskatchewan Railway Museum
The Saskatchewan Railway Museum is an educational centre on the history of the railways in Saskatchewan. This exhibit was developed in 1990 by the Saskatchewan Railway Historical Association which was founded to collect, preserve, restore, exhibit, study and interpret Saskatchewan’s railway history. The museum is open from the May long weekend to Labour Day weekend in September, Thursday through Monday, from noon to 5:00pm.
The Saskatchewan Railway Museum is the recipient of the March 12 in 12 $1,000 donation. The SRHA plans to use this money to support its summer students. Each month in 2011 a registered local nonprofit or charitable organization will be selected from the eligible nominees to receive a $1,000 donation from Centennial. If you would like to nominate an organization for the April donation click here.
Thank you to all the March entrants for your participation!
