Centennial is pleased to announce the May 2012 winner of the Centennial 12 in 12 Community Campaign – SWITCH
SWITCH stands for Student Wellness Initiative toward Community Health. University students volunteer to provide after hours medical care as well as nutrition programs, fitness programs, and counseling to our inner city community.
“The donation will go towards our nutrition programs, including Community Kitchen – clients learn to cook new meals and take home the leftovers, and Food for Tomorrow – a new program were we will be providing balanced family meals to take home at very low costs. Our sincerest thanks for such a generous contribution, SWITCH is made possible because of our wonderful community. –
SWITCH is the recipient of the May 12 in 12 $1,000 donation. Each month a registered local nonprofit or charitable organization will be selected from the eligible nominees to receive a $1,000 donation from Centennial. If you would like to nominate an organization for the June donation click here.
