With spring on the way, many homeowners are concerned about basement flooding from excessive snowmelt. Fortunately, there are systems available to help prevent a flood in the case of a sump pump failure. A battery backup pump and water level sensor will alert a homeowner if there is a concern with the functionality of the sump pump before any damage has occurred.
